This is a list of herbs medicine cats can use to treat iinfections etc.
Poppy Seeds- Are commonly used to soothe pain and help cats sleep, but when mixed with burdock root and chamomile is a cure for Infected Dog Bites
Cobwebs-Are used to stop bleeding and to help cuts heal
Feverfew-Used to stop fevers and soothe headaches and pains
Borage Leaves-Used to bring down fevers and to help queens produce milk for their kits
Marigold-Is used to treat infection, and to heal wounds and sores
HorseTail-Used to treat infected wounds
Burdock Root-Used to treat infections especially rat bites, but when mixed with burdock root and chamomile is a cure for Infected Dog Bites
Chervile Root-Used to treat infections
Wild Garlic- Can help keep out infections
Coltsfoot- Used to treat KittenCough
Catnip(also called catmint) - used to treat whitecough and greencough; can help to relax a cat
Tansy - used to treat coughs
thyme - used to calm a cat
Camomile - used to calm a cat
Dandelion Leaves- used to calm a cat
Juniper Berries - used to treat bellyache
Chervile- used to treat bellyache
Watermint - used to treat bellyache
Daisy Leaves - used to treat aching joints
Goldenrod- used in a poultice to treat aching joints and stiffness;
can also be used for severe injuries.
Ragwort Leaves- used alongside juniper berries in a poultice to treat aching joints.
